I have graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Business Process & Systems Engineering.
I was at TP TCC for the whole afternoon. The weather was scorching. I think I was dehydrated most of the time.
The whole ceremony was about an hour and a half long -- from 1400 to around 1530. This is because there are 3 other courses graduating at the same time, namely Biomedical Informatics & Engineering, Info-Communication and Adv. Diploma in Quality Engineering.

After the ceremony is over, most of the graduand took pictures with their friends and classmates. My class, K508, took a class photo together. This was done professionally by the photographers in Photography Club (I think only). After that, we took some pictures among ourselves. By the way, we remove the coat/gown after the class photo as we were sweating like hell. I didn't return the same time as I wanted to take picture with Jie Ying. Besides that, I am also taking a professional photo taken with my parents.

I want to comment about the professional photo taking session. My parents and I waited for more than an hour for our turn. Then, we also have to wait for another hour for the person to burn the photos into the CD. We didn't wait for the CD as we were tired and hungry. My sister will take it tomorrow as she is schooling at TP.

My picture taking with Jie Ying was a bit rushing as she need to attend her graduation ceremony. I didn't blame her as we can have many other opportunities to meet up. I must compliment her. She bought the largest family members to witness the ceremony. I say that I envy her. She really made her family proud by graduating with a diploma.
There were a few surprises. I saw Zuozhi. I didn't expect to see him. He was there to witness his brother, Zuoren, getting his diploma. The weird thing is that his brother is not witnessing his but Jie Ying and He Ting are. The next surprise was Jacinda. I didn't expect to see her there too. She told me that she was a replacement 'relative'. Too bad we didn't chat much but not much worry. There are many ways to keep in contact.
After a long 'speech' about my graduation today, I must tap myself on the shoulders and say that I can leave the school with a big smile on my face. Now, the future is what I have to look forward to. I need to beware of the challenges, betrayers, etc. Stay on full alert most of the time so as not to get bullied easily. From sec sch to poly might be a turning point to ourselves, as said by many lecturers. I must say that from poly to work life is the biggest turning point of my life. This is when I learn to save and aim higher in life.
I hope I will make the right decision. Lastly, thank Allah for all the help.
