I have a terrible stomach ache that I was late for work. I told myself that I rather be late for work than suffer my way to work. In the end I was 20 mins late. I didn’t blame myself or anyone but I remind myself that until the next month starts, I must not be late again.

I was late again. This time even worse than Friday – 24 mins. Who can I blame this time? Myself, for not taking the right bus and alighting at the right bus stop. Also blaming the bus driver for not being on time. Let me explain further. I have a few routes to choose to go to work. There is one common bus stop which I would alight if I board certain bus. However, the risk is I might have to squeeze in as not many people alight there. Least do I knew that on that day (Monday), 2 buses came with crowded passengers and there is no way I can board. By the time I decide to change to another route, it was too late.
I blame the driver as they sometimes do not open the entrance door. Moreover, sometimes they left the interchange earlier that many passengers would miss the bus.

After learning my lesson, I left home 5 mins earlier than usual. Besides there is a traffic jam near my place and it is raining. Everything went smoothly – from home to the transfer bus stop. I was there earlier than usual (I mean the bus stop where I transfer to another bus) However I waited half an hour for the bus. Many passengers who were boarding the same bus as me looks frustrated. I mean the bus which we always took to work always take us on time. I was late for 18 mins.
By just being late for 3 days, I have deducted $6.50 from my salary. The contract didn’t state it but my colleagues told me about it. I feel so disappointed that I lost $6.50 in just 3 days, how wasted.
I told my best friend about it and she suggested me to leave ½ hr earlier than today. I took her no way as I do not want to lose my sleep. I need at least 8 hrs to stay awake for the whole day. However, I might leave home 10 mins earlier. The most important thing is decision. I need to make the right decision, regardless whether it is cheapest fare or not.
I got to go home now. I wrote this in between my work. Bye.

For the past two days, my department (finance) has been shifting all our documents from level 9 to level 8. By the way, there is still many more to shift. The finance dept is divided into 3 diff sections. I say that my section is the slowest. But can't blame us for being slow as there are many things to shift.

(boxes) Those are called pigeon holes. This are the amount of work I need to do. There are sales figures, which everyday there will be new doc, I have to update into the computer system.
This is my work area now. There is 2 other colleagues sitting behind me. With effect from next week, I will be sitting in front at level 8. I don't really like that as those colleagues behind me will know what I am doing. I also have one thing to complain about my current desk. I hate my computer. It is the older model -- the big and fat computer. Moreover, my mouse is so a**. It is also the old version. Then I always have problems scrolling down and up. I suggested to one of my colleagues about changing the computer. She said she can help ask the IT dept. I hope there will be good news.
I am not very excited about the change as there is certain documents I need to get from level 9 Hence, traveling from level 8 to 9 will be a nuisance soon.
Well I need to have my dinner now. I will come again soon. See Ya!

I am not here to report on a new invention. It is about my work. If you have read my previous blog, I am working temporary at Wing Tai Clothing Pte Ltd.
Everyday, I need to sort documents and update the sales figure. Although I am kinda tired of the job, I am still gaining experience. My job scope is very small. Hence, I need to keep asking my supervisor for more work.
Well, now about the staple 'bullet. This is the amount I used a week. P.s. this is amount vary each week. Let me explain. This week I need to close the accounts hence I don't much stapling to do, more on filing the documents and checking the figures. Days that I do the updating of sales figures, I will have a lot to staple. Probably the amount would be twice as much.



By the way, the box is made and decorated by me. This is because I find it troublesome to keep turning back to the bin to throw small items. I want to take more pictures of me doing my work but I am embarrassed. Moreover, my work area is open. Everyone can see what I am doing, even if I am surfing the net not doing my work.
Overall, the working surrounding is great. I get along well with my colleagues.
