These are the presents I received this year.
This is given by my sister on my birthday, 22 August. So sweet of her!

This present is given by Jie Ying, Jacinda and Mei Yan. Thank you three for such a lovely present.

However, I am yet to received Esther' s present. I don't blame her as we seldom meet each other. She is working now and I am studying now. So most of the time, we don't have the time to hang out like the old time.
Thank you all for the presents!

Hip Hip Hooray! It is my birthday today. No celebrations but I am still happy.
Actually, Esther asked me yesterday whether I was free to hang out after her work. I have to reject her offer as I have to be at SMU at 1500. How I wish I could skip the event at SMU and hang out with my friends, even though it is a short while. Hai..........
I remember the good old secondary school days, when my friends would be cracking their brains on how to sabotage me. It always happened on everyone's birthday. It was so much fun. I really miss those days.
Now, being in the 20's, I have to be more mature. No more silly games.
My Birthday wishes:
- Happiness
- Luck
- Man (just kidding)
- Celebration/ Surprise
- Presents.
There are many more wishes but I don't want to reveal it. Hehee... Have fun guessing.

I woke up early today because I need to go to Singapore Management University (SMU) for dry run of the event on 22 August. Knowing that the journey is going to be long, I left home early (0815). Everything went so smoothly, that I kind of regret going out early.
The bus to the MRT station reached the bus stop seconds after I stepped on the bus stop. The MRT arrived soon after I reached the platform. Actually, I purposely miss one MRT so that I can reach City Hall station slightly late. Least I know, only two of my friends arrived. We had to wait for about 10 minutes.
When we reach SMU, I could only say that there were very few people walking around the area. It was kinda deserted. After a short brief at Lien Foundation Centre, we proceed to the administrative building where the actual event will be held. After all the briefing and allocation of duties, it was only 1000. Our discussion at SMU was only for 1/2 hr.
This is what we are discussing about:

I thought to myself, "A waste of my time. I rather have my beauty sleep at home. Moreover, waste money on transportation."
Now, I am back home, doing my work and relaxing most of time.
Lastly, before I sign out, I would like to wish Hariz a Happy 20th Birthday. May he have a great birthday party later.

Don't be trick. I am not having my holidays right now. From today till 31 August, my supervisor applied leave for the 8 of us (Francis, WG, CL, XL, HL, Siti, Cindy & I). This is because in September, we are helping PaTH. I am not sure about the details yet. I will inform you soon.
At first, we only have leave for today. However, when I checked my TP email, I found out that we do not have to go to school from now till 31 August. Actually, our holidays is from 28 August onwards -- after out PR2. To cut it short, I am having holidays right now. Hehee...
I can't be in the holiday mood yet as I yet to finish my Major Project. My team has not started on the presentation slides for 27/28 presentation. Moreover, I still haven't started on my individual SIP Report. This report needs to be submitted by 31 August.
Tomorrow, I can't meet my team as I need to see Mr Eric Wee about the PaTH project. The other reason why I can't meet my team tomorrow is the guys will not come to school in the morning. They are only available in the afternoon. Hence, the meeting would be on Monday. I have yet to inform them.
I think I will stop here for now. I need to start on my SIP report. I am afraid I might not have the time to do it.
See Ya~~

These are some paintings that are showcase at the official launch of PaTH.
Yesterday, we went to VivoCity, not to shop. We are there to volunteer for an organization. This is my supervisor's idea. I am not sure why I agree to such a thing.
All of us were divided into different teams for different tasks -- Traffic Control; Event Area; Guests; Reception and Market. Joyce and I took event area. I don't know why. Maybe we thought it was easy. Hmmm.... hehehe... Cindy was under Market, meaning selling products. Chai Lee took reception. Don't ask me why. As for Xue Ling and Siti, it is kinda complicated. At first, they choose to do Market, but after the organisers view their personality, they placed them in guests. They were unhappy about the changes but had no choice to accept the truth.
We arrived VivoCity Level 3 at 0900 for a briefing. For an hour or two, we helped out. After that, we had nothing to do except chat. As for Joyce and I, we helped out until 1200. Then we had nothing else to do. Our leader didn't tell us what to do. At about 1300, they had a presentation for designers and volunteers (I am one of them).
After the presentation, everyone went to their respective work whereas Joyce and I walked around the area doing nothing. We were trying to entertain ourselves, I think.
Only at 1500, we had lunch. It was so late and I was so hungry by then. Joyce and I took my time to eat as we knew at after lunch we have nothing to do. While eating, Joyce noticed a white man. I mean the person was very pale in colour. When I looked at him, I noticed that he was former Ronin lead singer. I told her who he was and she looked clueless. I tried to explain to her but she still don't know who.
After everything has ended, including the departure of the guest of honor - Mr Teo (Minister of Defense), Joyce and I went to have airbrush tattoo. It cost s$3. It is worth it and doing my part for the charity.
Here is the picture for my fake tattoo:

Overall, my day was so tiring. As I was standing most of the time from 0900 - 1700. On the way home, I slept in the MRT as I was meeting my family for dinner.
I slept at 0200 because I want to watch my anime.
Thanks for the experience and I might consider doing volunteer work if I have the time.
