Yesterday, my group of 7 members went to the city to do survey for our Major Project. We meet in the lab at 1000 before going there. At City Hall MRT station, we separate in 2 groups - one group of 4 go to Suntec/Marina Square while the other group of 3 went to Esplanade.
Luck wasn't on our side. My group of 4 tried our luck at the escalator near Marina Square. There, we split into groups of 2. My friend and I tried asking a few that doesn't seem busy at that moment, but none of them were interested. However, the other 2 were able to get one. Soon, the other group of 3 arrived. We informed them about our situation. They, too, also couldn't find any luck there. Hence, we decided to asked our relatives and friends to ease our burden.
We had our lunch at Cavana at Marina Square. After that, we went separate ways. Since it was only 1300, I thought of trying the donuts @ Raffles City. Two of my friends accompany me there. We knew that the queue will be long but I didn't mind as I have lots of time to spare.
After one hour, my friends were tired of waiting and they went back. I waited for another hour to get my donuts. Actually, I was able to get my donuts earlier but the group of students in front of me bought so many and there were about 10 of them in front of me. I bought only 6 donuts because it is my first time there and I don't want to waste food if I buy so many.
After that, I helped my mom buy breakfast for today (27 July 2007). At home, I told my sister about the donuts. At first, she thought was the normal donuts at the bakery, but I told her this is different. When we tried the donuts, we thought of eating all for ourselves, but we didn't. It was so delicious. The waiting time was worth it.

That is all I want to say here. I hope to buy the donuts again. I want to try other flavours except cheese. I hate cheese. Hehehe...

What a special number. Some more today is one of my friends birthday. It is none other than Mei Yan. Today is her 20th birthday.
The number is so special because having a repeat only happens once in a lifetime. Next year is going to be Hariz's birthday - 20/08/2008 (20082008). Moveover, his will be even special as he is turning 21.
Anyway, Happy Birthday to Mei Yan. I hope she will enjoy her adulthood.

Today is friday the thirteen. Many believe that bad things will happened on this day. I am not sure whether to believe it. I always believe in fate.
Anyway, I am here to talk about my class gathering. Haidir and his friends organised a class gathering for all students in LYSS from 2000-2004. At first, Jie Ying and I are going but we change our mind yesterday. We informed all our friends about this gathering and most of them answered not sure until yesterday.
I asked Haidir who had confirmed going to the gathering and he answered that many Malay are going. Then, Jie Ying and I had second thought as we feel that if we go by ourselves, the atmosphere is going to be weird. This is because we are not very close to the Malays.
In the end, the latest count from Haidir was 6 Malays. Most of them are the organisers. I think the timing for this class gathering is not right. I think they should put during the school holidays or Saturaday. This because there are a few of them in the army. They might be book out only during the weekends. This is only my suggestion as it is what I notice among my chinese friends.
Whatever it is, I hope there will be another class gathering again.

This is what I am watching now.
Time is clicking so fast that I didn't notice that 070707 is ending. Hence, here is the ending of a lucky day and the beginning of a new day.

So far the concert was great. I can watch my favourite band -- Linkin Park. However most of the artists that I know will be performing in New York and London. I don't think I will be able to watch most of the London concert as I would be sleeping. I can only watch the New York concert. Anyway, I am already happy that I can catch Linkin Park live in Tokyo, Japan.

This is my old Tv. Place at the corner of the room for all to watch.
This is part of the wall. Remember: there is a clock and the wall is pink in colour.
Before the location of our new Tv. Only a clock on the wall.
This is after we remove the old Tv and clock for them to install the LCD TV. Take note that my wall is still pink. This is because at the last minute, they couldn't come to install so we have to wait.
Hence, we put the LCD TV box in the living room before the man can install them. Hai.....
Present Day (Today):
Hip Hip Hoarry! Our new LCD is placed. We can watch TV now.
Look at the place. The wires are ugly, but we can't do anything. The clock is placed on the study table because there is no space above the LCD and it also looked ugly if placed there.

I watch this movie in Nabolister (
http://www.movies.nabolister.com/). It was a recommendation from a friend. It is about a rat who wants to be a chef. He got his opportunity when a great chef spirit appeared. Follow his adventure to becoming a great chef.

Genre: Crime / Comedy / Action
Release Date in Singapore: 21st June 2007
Running Time: 121 Minutes (2 Hour++ )
The lead actor in this movie: Simon Pegg. He also came out with the story line.
His partner in 'crime' -- Nick Foster. One is serious in work, the other is not.
Now, the police force is in action. Before that, they do not bother about crime.
The chief wants them to catch this criminal. Wish them luck.
Time for them to kick ass(es). Don't play play!
Synopsis:
Nichocals Angel (Simon Pegg) is a big-city cop who can't be stopped - but he's making everyone else on the force looked bad. When he is reassigned to a small, quiet town, he struggles with his new, seemingly idyllic world and his bumbling partner (Nick Foster). But their dull existence is interrupted by several gristy and suspicious accidents, and the crime-fighting duo turn up the heat and hand out high-octane, car-chasing, gun-fighting big-city justice in this hilarious hit.
My Opinions:
I don't know about this movie until I read Today newspaper. The critics put 4/5 stars. Saying that the storyline is great and humourous. I didn't believe it until I watch the movie. Although sometimes I couldn't understand what they were saying (this is a British movie), I can understand the plot of the movie. There are lots of actions, like most police shows. However, this movie has lots of humour in it. Regardless on whether it is in the police station or fighting a crime.
I recommend those who likes action and comedy to watch the movie.

Yesterday, I was suppose to get my new LCD Television. The delivery time was between 1400-1800. I was excited to watch tv programmes on my new LCD television. Hence, I waited patiently for the arrival. Before that, we have to clear the study table so that they can install the wall mount on the wall. If I want to watch tv, I have to go to either my parent's room or my brother's room or the living room to watch.
From 1400 to 1500 to 1600, there is no news. I was getting bored then. My mom called Courts (the place where we bought it) to confirm the delivery. The person-in-charge inform us that there will be two deliveries -- one from Courts, who will delivery only the television and the wall mount, then the Sony agent will do the installation.
Between 1600-1700, the Courts delivery men delivered the television and wall mount. Wow... Can't wait for the Sony agents to install them and watch tv.
By 1900, there is no news from the Sony agents. Knowing that they are an hour behind time, my mom called Courts, but there refer her to the Sony agents. The bad news was the installation won't be till Wednesday, 4 July 2007. I was disappointed. I have to move back my old television so that I can watch my favourite programmes. Now the television is in the living room waiting to be installed. I am also waiting.
