This week, my team went to two places as part of our research on solar energy. They are German European School at Bukit Tinggi and Poh Ern Shih Temple at Pasir Panjang.

The first trip was not helpful as the person don't have much knowledge on the solar panels. The only reason why the school uses the panels were for promotion uses. My first impression of the German School was oh my gosh, are we at the right location? This is because the buliding were quite old. It looked like I was back in the 80's where those students were learning. However, on 2nd thought, it is a school mainly for German students whose parents are working in Singapore. Another thing about the German School was there was no bus service nearby. The only way to the school was by car or taxi. When we board the taxi, the taxi driver didn't know German School nor Bukit Tinggi. The only thing we can tell them was it was near Bukit Timah.

The 2nd trip was better as we have been there before. The main purpose of going there was to take pictures of the solar panel and ask the person-in-charge some questions that we have in doubt.

Both days we went early as we do not want to soak under the afternoon sun. Our trips were short -- 1 to 2 hours only. The best part was we can go home early. I can get a good rest and watch tv programmes that I missed. Hehe........
