After so many months, I could not take the load of my thick hair. I went to Supercut at Century Square to get my hair done.

At first, I wanted to dye my hair as I hate the grey hairs I have. After consulting the hair stylist, Daris, he recommended I do soft bonding as my hair was very fizzy. I agreed as soft rebonding was my second choice.

There were many procedures. In total, it took 2h 30 mins to finish. I love the outcome as my hair was softer and better to maintain.

The first thing I wanted to do was to show off but don't know who to.

Well, in conclusion, I love my hair.

2 days into the new year. Although I didn't make any new year's resolutions, I am taking things one step at a time.

2009 was a wonderful year for me. I was very happy with my life, even though there was constant long working hours towards the end of the year. I was hoping something would happen but no surprises.

I must say there were sad moments in 2009 but I had friends who were there for me. Thanks.

I think the moments I remembered the most is meeting my friends every month. Even though we could not get the whole gang together for the past 12 months, we still meet up. Every month was different. Examples like dinner at swensens, picnic at east coast, bowling, etc... I am looking forward to this year monthly gathering. This gathering is something I was feel excited about as I can forget about all my troubles and feel free.

As for career, I am just satisfied. My colleagues are my motivation to stay on. Although there is office politics, I don't give a damn if it doesn't involve me. I have plans to leave by this year to study but I have yet to decide.

LOVE: I get all my love from my friends and family. Although my friends have started to look for their other half or have already found theirs, I am still taking my time. I don't know if I am doing the right thing in waiting for the guy. Being an introvert, I tend to keep things to myself, even if I like someone.

My friends and I welcomed the new yr in a special way. That's thru MSN. All because most of us could not make it on 31 dec 09 for the countdown.

At least we kept our promise to celebrate together. Hope countdown to 2011 will be even special.

Although there wasn't a huge celebration at the office this year, my colleagues and I had a mini celebration among ourselves. We did christmas exchange just like last year.

Although we didn't have the previleged to have half day on christmas eve, we manage to finish work at 1845. This is after weeks of OTs.

Hence, I am here to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Happy holidays!

What I received for my gift exchange.


From my other colleagues. Just small items.

It was a fun weekend. Supposely, my sister and I are to watch the movie UP on Saturday, 8 Auguest 2009. However, there was a mix up. Either GV management didn't read Shan/Ross's email correctly or Shan/Ross's send the date they wanted to book wrongly. Anyway, my sister and I didn't waste the trip, we went shopping and bonded more. (see para 3 for more)

We returned on 9 August 2009. We watched the movie with Shan only, and 2 other pairs. Ross couldn't make it as she had to other arrangements for the day, being the day is National Day. One pair didn't come. I must say Shan is more good looking in person and much taller too. He stand out in the crowd. He is about a head taller that most of the guys.

On the 8 August 2009, my sister and I shopped at Orchard Central. The place was huge and luxurious. We didn't dare to enter most shops as either there were no customers in the store or the stuff didn't interested us. After a while, we were tired and rested at Galare. We ordered Chocolate Overloaded. It is really chocolately. My sister loves it but I am ok with it as I am not really a chocolate fan.



The long National Day weekend was exciting and great. Happy 44th National Day, Singapore!

This is my 1st time working for 14.5 hrs. It is even worse than working 12hr shift.

The Reason:
I started work as usually on Friday, 22 May 2009, at 0900. However, I know there is a twist after that. The thing is that I had to work for two dept. From 0900 to 1845, I do my work as usual in OTT. With dinner provided by the other dept head - from 1845 to 1930. Then after dinner, I continued working for PRIME, printing cheques. I wasn't the only one being sending there to help, there were 3 other colleagues - 1 from the same dept as me, the other 2 from Investigation and Demand Drafts.

We had fun in there as we chat a lot while waiting for our cheque to finish printing. After printing all the cheques, it was 10 mins to 2300. Then we started to check each other cheques for consistency. The 4 of us that were borrowing left at 2330.

It was very tiring. Lucky it was Friday, so there isn't a need to worry about the next day. If it was Monday, it is going to be a tiring week. As by the time I reached home and took my bath, I was too worn out to do anything and went to bed immediately.

Overall, the experience is OK. Just too tired.

Today is Joyce's birthday.

Miao and I thought of hanging out together and also celebrating her birthday but she already have plans.

I hope we can meet up soon. It have been a long time since I have seen them.
